The Raichur Souharda Cooperative Society was established on March 19, 2012, under the leadership of our esteemed President, Vishwanath Hiremath. Our founding members, a dedicated group of 13 Board of Directors, convened in Kavital village, Manvi Taluk, Raichur District, with the vision of fostering the welfare of small businesses, rural communities, women, and economically disadvantaged individuals.
Initially, we resolved to raise a capital of 20 lakhs through share contributions from our stakeholders. These funds were utilized to extend loans and support, facilitating the establishment of the Cooperative Society.
Our inaugural branch and head office were situated in Kavital which is in the Sirwar taluk of Raichur district now. Following notable progress and with the goal of extending our assistance to urban areas, we opened an additional branch in Raichur and subsequently relocated our head office to Raichur, accompanied by a new Board of Directors.
In a continued effort to support both rural and urban populations, we established another branch in Yadgir District after three years of successful operations.
Our President has been honored with the title "Dhruva Taare" for his exceptional contributions to the field of cooperative society.
